Lerxst, Gabe, and Zach get together to discuss a list of 32 shows, and their best female characters. Listen for the lols and leave a commend when you want to disagree with them.
This week we are joined with guest, Marth, discuss our impressions on the spring 2012 anime shows of the year. Check out Marth’s blog in our blogroll in the right sidebar!
Two of our hosts couldn’t make it to the show last week so it’s just me and King of Hearts who are joined with blog writers, Richard and Zekana to talk about what we’ve been watching for the past week. The show includes Dave and King’s review of Harisugawa in the Mirror World, Richard’s review of Mawaru Penguindrum, and Zekana’s review of Puni Puni Poemi.

Anime After Hours hosts, DavetheZombie is joined with host, Gabe, to discuss the elements of storytelling, including plot, themes, and the opening of a show.I know I might get some hate mail for this, but that’s fine. No disrespect to the Shinbou-fanatics, just one guy expressing his opinions.
So I’m aware that we haven’t done a main show in months, but this is due to many reasons. Of course, there’s the usual work and school excuse, but also that it’s been harder getting everyone together at the same time. Not only that, one of our hosts broke his mic, so we’re short a person until he gets it fixed. In other words, it’s a tough hiatus situation. In the meantime, here’s another After hours episode we tried to push out. Ven, King, Lerxst, Richard, and I talk about various topics from MAL including the most disturbing parts in anime and manga, shows that were almost masterpieces, and surprising great shows.
Alas it is here, the 2011 end of the year awards show! Anime Afterlife Podcast hosts, DavetheZombie, Vensito, Gabe, Lerxst, and blog writer, Richard, give the annual awards to the anime shows and movies of 2011. It’s a long listen (about 2 and a half hours long), but we had a lot of fun doing this awards show. (Just imagine if we had guests on, yikes). Sorry if I seemed low tone this show, I was incredibly sick (still am too), but I did my best to put some spirit into the show.
Anime Afterlife Podcast hosts, DavetheZombie, Vensito, King of Hearts, and Lerxst, and blog writer, Zekana, join us for another show and talk about what they’ve been watching for the past few weeks. The show includes Zekana’s review of Princess Tutu, Lerxst’s review of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, King’s review of Kara no Kyokai 1st movie: The Garden of Sinners, and Dave and Ven’s review of both seasons of Kaiji.
In this Afterlife After Hours episode, I am joined with guests and co-host, Gabe, along with blog writer, Richard, to talk about comedy in anime. This podcast episode sure if FAWNY! Ok not really. But listen to it anyway!

The show includes Gabe’s review of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, King’s review of Melty Blood, and Dave’s review of Mirai Nikki. We hope ya’ll have a great Thanksgiving!
