For the next 9 days, I am on Spring break time. And I am going to make sure I fill all that time with as much anime as I possibly can. Last year for Spring break I told myself I would start and finish at least two anime. I kind of completed that task by starting and finishing Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and the first season of K-ON! Well this year is going to be a little different. This time around I will be having an ANIME MOVIE EXTRAVAGANZA. Basically I’ll just be watching as many anime movies for the next week as I possibly can (inbetween watching the airing shows and playing Mass Effect 3). So let me give you a run down of what I have lined up already for the next week.

UPDATE: Semester is over. My winter break is underway. That means I’m going to be bringing this shit back full force. Starting next Friday 12/16, we are going to record AMF # 14 and hopefully bring back AMF permanently after this long ass hiatus. So if you didn’t see already, this is what we will be watching:
I have heard mixed feelings about this movie. Some say its a classic that everyone should watch and others say that the plot is mediocre and that it doesn’t really age well. I guess us here at AAP will just have to watch (or re-watch) this movie to find out how we feel. I, in all honestly, am really looking forward to watching this movie. It looks to be one of the dumbest anime films I’ve ever seen. And the plot to this movie has to be one of the most bizarre plots of any movie I’ve ever read. And you know that we here at Anime Afterlife Podcast are going to bash this movie so much, its going to make for one damn good podcast.
