Afterlife After Hours Episode 4: The Disturbing Show

So I’m aware that we haven’t done a main show in months, but this is due to many reasons. Of course, there’s the usual work and school excuse, but also that it’s been harder getting everyone together at the same time. Not only that, one of our hosts broke his mic, so we’re short a person until he gets it fixed. In other words, it’s a tough hiatus situation. In the meantime, here’s another After hours episode we tried to push out. Ven, King, Lerxst, Richard, and I talk about various topics from MAL including the most disturbing parts in anime and manga, shows that were almost masterpieces, and surprising great shows.

Afterlife After Hours Episode 2: The One Core Show

So I guess our editor didn’t like our old opening for AAH and went ahead and changed it to the Junes theme from the game, Persona 4. Greeeeat. Just greeeat. Anyhow this week on Afterlife After Hours, I’m joined by podcast co-host, Lerxst, to discuss their thoughts on one core shows, time skips, CGI, and anime recommendations. I suppose we’re branching out into multiple discussions in these kind of shows, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Multiple discussions  are always pretty fun to have. The show originally started out as only discussing one core shows, but somehow other things got thrown into the discussion pot. So there ya go! More content for your everyday Junes, I mean life.

Afterlife After Hours Episode 1: The Community Show

Recently, shows have been pushing out little by little each month. So I thought to myself, what could I do to push more recordings out? I mean, we’re a podcast, right? We gotta record at least something nowadays. So I bring to you, Afterlife After hours. A spinoff of my very own show where a guest and I talk about general topics on anime. I know it’s odd to have a spinoff, but I feel it would be fun to have these sort of discussions with other people. It could be something I want to get off my chest or a discussion a guest would like to bring up. It’s much more free form than the main show and since it’s only me and a guest, I’m free to do these shows more often. Anyone is welcome to be a guest on these spinoff shows if there’s a discussion topic you’d like to talk about.

As for the first episode, Gabe and I had a neat discussion on anime communities nowadays. It’s about an hour long but we got some great topics going on.
