Updated: Spring 2012 Anime Chart 2.0

This chart was created by Neregate

The spring chart of 2012 has actually been out for a few weeks now but I’ll post this first version of it now for future reference. Will keep updating this post as the charts get updated. Anyhow, definitely looking forward to Sankarea’s adaptation and the 2nd half of Fate/Zero. Spring should be a fun time.

UPDATE: Wow! What’s all this new crap on the chart? The Thomas Train? What in the hell is that doing there? Also cool to see some interesting new shows on that chart.

I came.

I just heard earlier today that Shakugan no Shana Season 3 is officially due this fall! I’m very excited for the season for many reasons. The second season left off at a big cliffhanger, and I’m well eager to see what will happen next. I’m always glad to see Rie Kugumiya in one of her better roles, rather than say… some of the ones (Gintama aside), that she’s done recently. I’m not the biggest fan of Shana, but I do find it to be a pretty entertaining and well done series. I’d probably put it on the same plateau as the first season of Index. Anyhow, I’m glad a lot of great shows are debuting this fall. Persona 4 anime, Mirai Nikki anime, and Shana as well. Just maybe the fall season will outdo the spring. We shall wait and see.

Oh yeah, the new layout. I assume Gabe’s the one fucking with the setttings. Not sure how I feel about it myself though.

Music Video Monday #25: Blooming Flowers Edition

This week I chose ‘Hana no Iro’, by band, nano.RIPE, or better known as the the opening to this season’s show, Hanasaku Iroha. Other than the small bit at the beginning of the song to the point where the instruments finally pick up, I really like this song. Something about it is just so damn catchy.
